International Development Observer is an independent, nonprofit initiative based in China led by a consortium of seasoned international development practitioners and researchers.

Countries around the world face common challenges such as climate change, public health, and debt crisis. China plays a key role in addressing global challenges, and we are committed to promoting international exchanges and dialogues in the field of international development through rigorous research.

Our work revolves around three core areas: global governance, bilateral development policy and global challenges.
